Yeah, seriously those stereotypical stupid Indians, amirite?

Indian Americans continuously outpace every ethnic group socioeconomically to reach the summit of the U.S. Census charts. Indian Americans, along with other Asian Americans, have attained the highest educational levels of all ethnic groups in the U.S. 71% of all Indians have a bachelor’s or higher degree (compared to 28% nationally and 44% average for all Asian American groups). Almost 40% of all Indians in the United States have a master’s, doctorate, or other professional degree, which is five times the national average.

It's the California DMV dude, that place is a breeding ground for apathetic retards. Ask me how I know.

Might be easier to just book an appointment online. I gave up on calling them years ago.

yeah, not sure if that was intended but the post does come across as a little bit racist.

I think what he meant to imply was that a guy in India would know more about the DMV than the guy at the DMV. I know OC. He's no racist, not by a long shot.

Technically speaking he implied a limit to knowledge and communication resulting from The Dumbs, which is a different kind of limit to communication than The Sort Of English Spoken Half A World Away and a different limit to knowledge than I’m Sorry I’m In A Call Center That Pays Shit And Just Have A Script.

I’m sorry you’re having technical difficulties, is there something less helpful we can do?

Little known fact: The CA DMV is actually two entities that do not speak to each other. Driver licensing is one part, and vehicle registration is another. This is why you can register your car with one address when your license has another. It also means that if you move and change your address but not the car’s address, any tickets that get sent by mail will go to where you no longer live and start accumulating late fees. They’re completely separate databases and functions, and again, do not speak to each other. So here’s what you do: Get a AAA membership. Registering a car? Renewing a registration? Registering a boat? Go there. Save yourself a mountain of headaches. If you need a photo taken or an actual test, then you’ll need the DMV appointment and there’s no way around in, in which case pick the most expensive neighborhood within 40 miles and schedule it in advance. You’ll have a nicer time in Walnut Creek or Marin than Oakland, and be out in half the time.

Once you understand how the system works, or more correctly, how it fails, you can work around going to the DMV for almost everything. That alone is worth a AAA membership.

...and class based education and opportunities and further immigrating self-selection are a hell of a thing. We get mostly Brahmin types? The deuce you say.

My comment had zero to do with intelligence, only with a language barrier, if I am honest.

Yes, India kicks ass, no doubt about it.

No affront intended.

OC called back and got someone thirty years younger and OC was happy. OC wanted to tell Second Guy’s supervisor that Second Guy was excellent, but Supervisor was not available.
